York Theatre Royal is currently looking for new members to join the Board of York Theatre Royal, one of the region’s most successful producing theatres.

Funded by Arts Council England, Yorkshire, and the City of York Council, York Theatre Royal provides a mixed programme of our own productions, in both our 870 seat main house, and in the 100 seat Studio Theatre, and we also welcome a range of touring companies such as Birmingham Royal Ballet, English Touring Theatre, Phoenix Dance Theatre and English Touring Opera, to offer a different perspective to our many audiences.

Each year the theatre welcomes more than 200,000 visitors each year to a unique 260 year old building in the heart of the historic city of York.

As the theatre capitalise on the success that it has enjoyed over the last few years, York Theatre Royal is now seeking a number of creative and imaginative professionals to join the board as the theatre continue to expand the range of work available both on and off our stages.
