China H1 auto imports up 53% to 212,800 units

Shanghai, August 4 (Gasgoo.com) China’s auto imports rose 53.15% in the first half from one year earlier, and stood at 212,800 vehicles, according to General Administration of Customs.

The customs said the import growth rate in the first half was 18.22% higher than last year’s level.

The imports of auto products from January to June were valued at 16.3 billion U.S. dollars, up 39.64% year on year.
