'August: Osage County' takes best-play Tony

NEW YORK (AP) — “August: Osage County,” Tracy Letts’ scabrous tale of a dysfunctional Oklahoma family, was named best play Sunday at the 2008 Tony Awards ceremony, picking up two acting prizes as well as an award for direction.
